Based on the Joachim Fest novel Inside Hitler’s Bunker, Oliver Hirschbiegel’s (2004) Downfall is arguably the best on-screen portrayal of Hitler ever filmed. The fact that the film has been repeatedly used to have a side-swipe at the rich and infamous is an hilarious bonus.
