With thirteen-hundred student job hunters expected to attend and over fifty of the UK's most sought after employers looking for new recruits, Scotland’s 2016 Careers Fair is an opportunity not to be missed.

Taking place during MY Career Week. The Careers Fair, held at Glasgow University Union is a free national event organised by Glasgow University's Careers Service in conjunction with The Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Service (AGCAS) and open to students and graduates from all universities.

At this year's Careers Fair graduate and student job hunters from any university will get the chance to meet potential employers from a wide range of industries and at the same time find out more about career opportunities tailored to meet today’s changing and challenging jobs market. 

Employers from top business organisations in key UK employment sectors will be at the Glasgow Union and looking to recruit talented new graduates into both the private and public sectors. Top Universities will be attending in force too, as will be, the Royal Navy & Air Force, communications conglomerates such as I.B.M., mega online retailer Amazon, the growing Aldi supermarket chain and, of course, the events main sponsor, financial giant Morgan Stanley. The big recruitment agencies are also attending.

New this year is a chance to pop along to the MY Style Hub where you can pick up some useful style advice for that all important interview from House of Fraser, Slater Menswear, Top Shop, Top Man and Rainbow Room International.  To top-off a brilliant 2016 Careers Fair there's a even a FREE professional head and shoulders photo shoot to make sure your LinkedIn and Social Media profile pic will create the perfect impression - look out for the MY Profile Photo. 

As ever they'll be a lot to see at Scotland's 2016 Careers Fair, so make sure you get there early to make the most of what will be an incredible day. The Careers Fair will take place on Wednesday 10th February, at the Glasgow University Union. Doors open at 11am until 4pm and there's no need to register until you arrive on the door, but you can complete the registration form in advance to beat the queues.
